David is a qualified accountant (FCMA) specialising in the implementation of fully integrated manufacturing systems (MRP II). His background in process optimisation and systems integration has shaped a career focused on driving efficiency, reducing operational costs, and embedding lean management principles across complex organisations. David’s expertise in streamlining workflows and improving resource utilisation continues to influence Overtec’s commitment to delivering practical, scalable, and cost effective technology solutions.

 David Thomas. Co Founder & Managing Director (Technical and IT) 

With a senior Operations Director background, David has led large and complex mobile workforces across multiple sectors. His deep experience in Field Service Management has enabled organisations to streamline processes, reduce waste, and operate with greater efficiency and control. David has also developed a wide range of services that leverage alarm receiving centre capabilities to strengthen business safety, security, continuity, and disaster recovery. His focus on lean, efficient service delivery ensures organisations remain protected, compliant, and operationally resilient while empowering field teams to work smarter and more productively.

 Chris Armstrong. Operations Director (Training, Implementation and Customer Support)

Chris joined Overtec in 2016 after studying Business Management at Leeds Beckett University. As Operations Director, he plays a key role in shaping how customers adopt and experience Overtec’s solutions. Known for his clear communication and focus on continuous improvement, Chris ensures organisations embed new systems effectively and maintain strong performance long after go live.
