Overtec and Panztel sign partnership agreement

Overtec and Panztel have signed a strategic partnership agreement to enhance mobile workforce safety and efficiency. The aim is to provide a onestop package that can be used as and when required without the need for procuring services separately.

Under the terms of the agreement Panztel will provide its proven staff monitoring service, offering effective management control of remote working staff on site. Overtec, a company that provides solutions for mobile workforces, will add their innovative monitoring services for vehicles and workers on the move. The combined applications support mobile workers at work and to and from work.

Overtec's vehicle monitoring service - Driver Dynamics - identifies how drivers can drive more efficiently and safely. It can significantly reduce fuel consumption, wear and tear, accidents and insurance premiums. The Mobile Workforce Management service does much the same via smartphones for grey fleets and non-company vehicle users. Back at base it records petrol expenses and shows safe arrivals and departures and speed of travel.

Panztel director David Currie said: "The partnership is hitting the right notes with companies, especially where management staff are feeling squeezed by the pressure to improve service delivery for clients who are imposing cost-cuts. We can help by identifying hot spots in performance and ensuring that labour and other costs are tightly controlled. Where e-monitoring is used, we can give the added assurance that communications meet four nines, 99.99%, uptime requirements".

Overtec director David Armstrong said: "by working in partnership with Panztel, we are able to create a complete solution that will help businesses and their mobile workers to be leaner, greener and safer." To find out more, about Overtec visit their website at www.overtec.co.uk.
